Cruising is great way to spend your time off, and if you can combine it with something you love, you’ll have a difficult time finding a more ideal vacation. The Capital Jazz Cruise, technically (and more grandiosely) called the Capital Jazz SuperCruise, is one of several jazz cruises that take place each year. It is only the last function of Capital Jazz that we are interested in, however, so we’ll leave the rest behind. The Capital Jazz Cruise of 2013 is disembarking in just a couple of weeks, and there are still available spots, or if this is too late of notice, you can also already sign up for the Capital Jazz Cruise of 2014.

I’ve said this once and will say it again-- there is absolutely nothing, I mean NOTHING like traveling, experiencing performances from your favorite artists, and being among people who love music as much or more than you do. The 31st annual Capital Jazz Fest is coming June 7-9, 2024! Held each year during Black Music Month since 1993, the Capital Jazz Fest is one of the longest running festivals in the DMV and one of the premier black music events in the country, featuring over 30 acts over three days.
